A Taste of Tradition Since 1958

Mom's Bakery has been a family operated business since its incorporation in 1958 by the Gray family and has continued as a family business under the Kay family since 1977.

Since its inception, Mom's Bakery has been a high volume, wholesale manufacturer of baked goods focused on high quality and low cost. There are two primary, made from scratch line items: a potato biscuit and our original buttermilk biscuit. Mr. Gray formulated the potato biscuit and Mr. Kay formulated and perfected the buttermilk biscuit. Both biscuits are very unique in that they can withstand the rigors of manufacturing. End users are schools, restaurants, convenience stores and primarily sandwich manufacturers.

Since 1997, Mom's Bakery has been under the leadership of Kristi Kay, Mr. Kay's daughter. Ms. Kay has been the driving force in the expansion of Mom's into a 75,000 square foot facility. During this expansion Kristi met Andrew Evans. Mr. Evans back ground with Keebler and years of experience in the baking industry made this a perfect fit. Mr. Evans is now part owner in Mom's and leads the management of each department.

In 2003, Mom's Bakery, Inc. became AIB certified with a Excellent rating.

The company now employees over 100 employees, ships to all points in the United States, and is developing new products while still maintaining its true origins of the handmade biscuit.
